Description: RCA is a structured, team-based and streamlined approach for solving chronic failure problems in a process, product, or service. RCA applies practical, systematic methods for analyzing performance problems to uncover root causes. It prioritizes which problems should be analyzed first, and then explores effective ways of gathering data for root cause determination. Finally, RCA resolves to the primary root cause where the problem is found and fixed. This 4 hour webinar will familiarize you with the tools and techniques and provide some case studies of how RCA is being applied in the industry today.

Description: Becoming certified as a Reliability Engineer (CRE) can be valuable to your employer and your career. We are offering this Exam Preparation Course. Students have found it very valuable in preparing for the exam. Even if you are not planning on taking the exam but need a good, in-depth course in Reliability Engineering, this can benefit you substantially.

The IEEE Reliability Society has entered into an agreement with the ASQ Reliability Division to jointly sponsor the CRE exam. The new certification, to be called the ASQ/IEEE CRE will be a collaborative effort of both societies. They are currently working together to develop and maintain the CRE Body of Knowledge (BOK) as well as the exam questions. Below is the BOK as it stands today.
