Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Objectives

OBJECTIVES
FMECA is a main component in the overall Risk Management program at any company. It is a systematic technique to analyze a system for all potential failure modes. The objective of this course is to learn about how to perform a FMECA, how to calculate the criticality of each failure mode, and then how to prioritize. Then, the course will go into proper methods of mitigating failure modes and rescoring to determine the overall improvements. Finally, the course will show how the FMECA can be integrated into an overall reliability program.
