Ops A La Carte staff were honored to have been asked to participate in two important industry events recently. The first event, a PATCA panel discussion entitled "Three Views on Consultant Marketing," featured Ops A La Carte and other industry leaders in a frank dialogue regarding the entrepreneurial spirit and the importance of hard work and dedication to excellence. Other areas touched upon during the three-hour evening session on March 13 were networking, advertising, partnering and shameless self-promotion.
The second event was "Managing Outsourcing Quality Risks," a joint webinar with SigmaQuest and Symphony Consulting on March 14. This event marked the second time Ops A La Carte has teamed up with SigmaQuest for this type of online presentation. If you missed this one, we taped it for future viewing. Please contact us if you would like a link to the taped broadcast. And we have many more events coming up - most notably, these:
Del Mar Electronics Show, April 30 to May 1 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego. Ops A La Carte is exhibiting, along with Reliability Resources, Quality Testing Services, SoCal Testing and DfR Solutions. Look for us in Booth 351! For details about this important show, email us via our contact form.
Practical Reliability & Maintenance Symposium, May 11-15, in Israel. No rest for the reliability experts… We go right from Del Mar to Israel for this important international conference. Ops A La Carte will be teaming up with BQR, Hanse Environmental and A.O. Ezra Electronics for this Sunday through Thursday event. The focus of the first three days will be Accelerated Reliability Techniques HALT, HASS and ALT. For the final two days we'll be concentrating on FMEA. Need more information about this event? Semiconductor reliability is one of our primary focuses at Ops A La Carte. A reliability plan must be established to address each phase of every product's life cycle. Melding this plan into the development process results in a nicely cohesive reliability program. At Ops A La Carte, we like that. Cohesive is good.
Reliability gets assessed during development (at the built-in reliability, design for reliability and design for testability phases), along the production phase and in the product-maturity phase. But it should go without saying that any product's reliability is only as strong as the integrity of its component parts.
With that in mind, we work closely with our client foundries to ensure reliability throughout the lifecycle of the products we test. We work with design engineers to improve upon the reliability of existing products and ensure the heightened reliability of future designs. And we use a range of reliability-assessment tools to ensure prime functionality of the products we test. Ops A La Carte maintains an ongoing relationship with our clients to review, manage and direct ongoing reliability monitoring; from that monitoring (as well as customer feedback), we work to take corrective action to fix any possible failure points. We also propose design changes that would address these types of failures in the future, and evaluate proposed changes in the overall process.
Finally, Ops A La Carte is seeking the following new positions:
- Marketing Specialist to help handle all of our trade shows, marketing collateral, websites and newsletters.
- Senior Reliability Technician to run our Reliability Lab, perform testing, maintain equipment and run the calibration process.
- Senior Reliability Consultants to tackle some of the industry's most exciting and challenging projects worldwide. Both new and established consulting business practitioners are welcome.
For information regarding any of these positions, contact us at 408-472-3889.
